2nd chapter - Water that flows does not lead poison

The disagreements between the two sides had begun when, to unite the two kingdoms, the king rat of the sovereign right and Riva Riva mice of the Left, had agreed on marriage of their firstborn: Adamini and Semolina.
Unfortunately, the parents had not put into account the wishes of children, both already well together.
The wedding day, in fact, meal did not appear.
The groom's father, justified the absence of a decision affirming the child bride of the ugliness and stupidity the mother (no doubt inherited).
Then the king of Riva Right there sight, and with all the resentment that can keep a rat, rushed upon the king of Riva Di Left.
The two kings began as a crowd that involved most of the components of the two ruling families, including bridesmaids and witnesses.
The fight was very brutal, rodents were flying everywhere and then back into the fray.
It took ten guards on both sides to separate the two rulers, who continued to insult until they were taken away from their soldiers.
The fight was stopped and, for several days, dropped in both kingdoms a disturbing silence.
Both banks were aware however, that the apparent calm was simply "the calm before the storm."
Thus began an arms race.
